My “thread” in this blog is talk about what I’ve seen in my diverse experiences as an educator. Though I’ve only been teaching 3 years I have had many unique experiences in my career. In July of 2018, I will be traveling to Tanzania where I will have the amazing opportunity to train fellow teachers and meet other educators from across the globe. This trip was one of the reasons I started this blog to be able to to reflect on my past experiences in education, the new ones I will have, as well as personal experiences that have helped me become an empathetic person. It is my hope that my friends and family will be able to read about my experiences in Tanzania while I’m away as I create a “new thread” globally. In general, this will just be my thoughts and reflections on my experiences. This blog might end up more personal than educational, but maybe my personal experiences will help “bee the thread” for those who take the time to read my ramblings. : )
